Ideone API special contest.Ideone.com Ideone.com is a new website intended primarily for programmers and developers. Designed by Sphere Research Labs, based on SPOJ Engine technology, is is a... pastebin. But a pastebin like no other on the Internet. It allows you to share your code, run your code on server side in 40+ programming languages and do it all with your own input data. On February 1, 2010 Ideone API was made available. It allows you to use Ideone as a web service with your own desktop application, www server application or even mobile application (please have a look at IdeoneAPI for some examples). We invite you to use the website creatively and to develop your own applications in the technology of your choice. Therefore, we announce, as a High School Programming League event, a special contest for the most interesting application of IdeoneApi in a school education process. Only High School Programming League registered participants may take part. Allowed languages are the official languages of High School Programming League: Polish and English. The competition will take place in three stages:

Criteria for evaluation are subjective and include: general impression, the usefulness of solutions in school education, its maturity, and creativity. An additional advantages would be: access to source codes and their quality, video presentation showing possible applications, positive feedback. Prizes:
Note: we are not claiming any ownership rights to your submissions. However, by submitting your entry, you are granting us an irrevocable, worldwide right and license to use, review, assess, test and otherwise analyze your submission and all its content in connection with the Contest; and to feature your entry and all its content in connection with the promotion of this Contest; Organizers or third parties may have developed or commissioned materials similar or identical to your submission and you waive any claims you may have resulting from any similarities to your entry; submission will be made public and a submissions act does not provide legal protection in any sense. Stage 1At this stage you should form a team and submit your project description. Each team should designate a leader who will represent a team and contact the competition jury. The team leader on the day of submission must be over 16 years old. An application project in the form of a 2-page document in pdf format should be sent by the team leader (in the case of several applications the last one is taken into an account) by way of the SPOJ system. Stage IITeams qualified for the second stage create a software solution using the IdeoneAPI as described in Stage I. The submission includes the created solution with a suitable manual. Stage IIIAccepted projects will be made public within the High School Programming League website, and all the contest participants will have an opportunity to test the contest entries and comment on them. |
